Leigh Ann McGhee

"First of all, welcome to AVA!  We have an awesome program here and it's all because of our girls.

A little about me...I teach 7th grade Science and coach volleyball, basketball and track at Friendswood Junior High.  I came to know Jerry Linch and he invited me to coach here at AVA.  It has done nothing but help me in my coaching career.  This is my third year coaching the 11's team.  They are definitely the ""little ones"" in the land of giants here at AVA.  Coaching keeps me busy but it is a passion of mine.  Winning is great...no one likes to lose.  But coaching the age I do, I focus on fundamentals, improvement, self-confidence in one's game and fun.  "
