About me
Mimi Campbell is a 1999 graduate of Hastings High School in Houston, TX. She played varsity volleyball her junior and senior year. During her senior year, the team made it to the 5A State Championship. Mimi also played club volleyball for Spike Sport and Westside throughout her high school career. Immediately after high school, she received a scholarship to Hill Junior College. She was a starter her freshman and sophomore year as a defensive specialist. Her freshman year, the team qualified for the NJCAA national tournament in Kansas. Her sophomore year, she received various All-Tournament awards. After her two year career was finished at the Junior College level, she received a scholarship to Southern Arkansas University. Mimi ended her last two seasons as a starter for SAU as a libero. She was named the Defensive Player in the GSC-West. She ended her 2002-2003 season with a team high of 480 digs. Mimi graduated from Southern Arkansas University in May 2003 with a BBA emphasis in Marketing. This is her fourth season to coach at club level. Mimi currently resides in the Heights with her 3 dogs, P.J., Bonnie, and Clyde.
