About Me:
I grew up in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, where I attended Fond du Lac High School. In my first year of college, I attended Minnesota State Mankato, where I participated in both Volleyball & Track and Field, and in 2023, I transferred to Texas Southern University, where I currently do Track and Field. I am the youngest of 5 girls and my mother (Charlotte Trotter) who is a hard-working single mom raised us all very well.
Volleyball Background:
I started playing volleyball in 3rd grade, which led me to try out for our club team at the age of 9. I played up in all of my years of club volleyball until my 17's year when I finally decided to stay with my age group. I was a Varsity starter for Fond du Lac High School all four years of high school, collecting many awards along the way. I played my first year of college until I transferred and decided to stick with Track and Field and just pursue coaching volleyball. This will be my first year coaching with AVA!
Coaching Philosophy:
My philosophy centers on growth, teamwork, and resilience. I believe in fostering a supportive environment where players are encouraged to push their boundaries, take risks, and learn from each experience. Volleyball is more than a game; it’s an opportunity for personal development, discipline, and creating lifelong connections.
Practice Philosophy:
I emphasize repetition, teamwork, and clear communication, helping players master fundamentals and adapt to different scenarios on the court. Every practice is an opportunity for individual and collective improvement. Athletes need to give their all or nothing when it comes to volleyball because you can’t master the game without giving 100%!
Coaching Strengths:
Communication, Game Strategy, Technique, Mental Toughness
Final Notes:
I’m very excited for this upcoming season & to shape players into even better! Whether it’s on or off the court it is my promise as a coach to support players & to make them the best versions of themselves!
